Application Instructions

1) Read through the instructions and application deadlines listed below.

  • Early Application Deadline: October 31, 2023
    • What is the advantage of applying early? Fellowship recruitment is highly competitive. Applications submitted by the early deadline will receive priority review, and applicants may be invited to interview much earlier in the recruitment cycle.  Early applicants may be given priority in scheduling at select recruitment events and on-site interviews.
    • Please note that your application for the early deadline will still be considered even if your letters of recommendation are not received by the early application deadline date.
  • Final Application Deadline: November 21, 2023

2) Assemble the application materials listed below. You will not be able to save and return to the application or make changes after submission. All documents must be submitted in English and in PDF format.

  • Full CV and GPA are required.
  • Create a letter of interest that explains why you are interested in a UNC fellowship and how an appointment would affect your personal and professional goals.
  • Gather the names and email addresses of three professional references who will submit letters of recommendation on your behalf. *Be sure to provide your recommenders with the same email address you use to submit your fellowship application. This will ensure that your recommendation letters are linked properly to your application.
  • Obtain electronic copies of your complete unofficial transcripts (undergraduate and graduate coursework). Naming Protocol: Last Name.First Name.Degree.Institution.Transcripts – Ex: Smith.Jane.PhD.Duke.Transcripts

3) Complete the online application.

4) Send this link to your references. Recommenders will use this link to submit their letters of recommendation. http://pharmacydpetfellowships.web.unc.edu/recommendations/

The deadline for your recommenders to send their letters of recommendation is December 1, 2023.
